Job Summary:
Airpark Signs & Graphics is seeking an energetic Assembly Technician to join our Team. The Assembly Technician is a production-based position that takes place in a fast-paced shop environment. Reporting directly to our Assembly Manager, this position is full-time; Monday through Friday, (approx. 7am-4pm) with some weekends required. A successful assembly technician will use critical thinking to quickly interpret design files and excel at communication in order to carry out production instructions from beginning to end. Additionally, they will exhibit reliability, high attention to detail and accuracy. This individual will thrive in a dead-line driven environment. We are looking for someone who desires to learn and grow within the trade for a busy Tempe based sign company! Experience working with assembly is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricates and assembles signs using knowledge of sign industries substrates, hardware and application processes
- Assemble various components to completed assembly in prescribed sequence according to brand and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Collaboration with other departments
What we require:
- Must be able to read and understand written process
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Must be able to succeed in both individual and team environment
- Light lifting (20-30 lbs.)
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended period of time
- Must be able to read, understand and follow work order instructions in English
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with proficiency in English
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience in Sign Manufacturing Business
- 2+ years of assembly experience preferred
- General PC skills (Google Workspace)
