You will work closely with internal stakeholders, analytics partners, and external agencies to ensure programs are effectively executed, optimized, and delivering against established business and performance goals.
While Paid Search and SEO are the primary focus, this role sits within a broader Digital and Social Programs team. Focus on Tempe's strongest hiring sectors: technology and SaaS companies along the Rio Salado corridor, financial services firms near downtown, and the retail and e-commerce brands headquartered in the East Valley. Candidates with hands-on experience in digital marketing, paid media, or marketing analytics tend to move faster through hiring pipelines here. Familiarity with Arizona State University's surrounding startup ecosystem is a practical edge in Tempe specifically.

Tempe's employer mix leans toward mid-size tech firms, national financial services companies with regional offices, and consumer brands with corporate operations in the East Valley.
Are there remote marketing jobs in Tempe?
Yes, though availability depends on the specialty. Content, digital, and marketing analytics roles are frequently remote or hybrid, while event, field, and in-store marketing roles tend to require an on-site presence. About 50% of marketing openings tied to Tempe are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the strong tech and SaaS employer base in the area. How can I get a marketing job in Tempe with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Tempe is through coordinator and marketing assistant roles at mid-size tech companies or financial services firms along the Rio Salado corridor, where teams are large enough to bring on junior hires.
