How do I get a network coordinator job in Raleigh?
Focus your search on Raleigh's strongest hiring sectors: healthcare systems, university IT departments, and the dense cluster of technology and managed services firms in the Research Triangle Park area. Roles often concentrate in North Hills, Downtown, and the Brier Creek corridor. Candidates who stand out typically hold CompTIA Network+ or CCNA credentials and can demonstrate hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and vendor coordination in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
Which companies hire network coordinators in Raleigh?
Companies currently hiring network coordinators in Raleigh include First Citizens Bank, Infojini, and Extreme Networks, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Raleigh's mix of large healthcare organizations, state government agencies, and Research Triangle Park technology firms makes it one of the more active markets for this role in the Southeast.
Are there remote network coordinator jobs in Raleigh?
Yes, though availability depends on the role's function. Network coordinator positions that are desk-based, focused on ticketing, documentation, or vendor coordination tend to be more remote-friendly, while hands-on infrastructure or data center roles are typically on-site. The highest concentration of remote-eligible postings tends to come from Raleigh's software and managed services employers.
How can I get a network coordinator job in Raleigh with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Raleigh is through IT help desk or desktop support roles at one of the city's large healthcare networks, state government agencies, or university IT departments, all of which hire entry-level candidates and promote internally into coordinator positions. Pursuing CompTIA A+ or Network+ while in a support role signals upward readiness. Raleigh's managed services providers also hire junior coordinators and offer structured on-the-job training that accelerates the path from support technician to network coordinator.
