American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of recent experience and an active Maryland PT license for a 13-week contract in a suburban healthcare setting.
Details
- Outpatient Rehab unit setting
- Days shift, Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours guaranteed
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active Maryland PT license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- Compact license accepted
- 2+ years of recent Physical Therapy experience required
- BS, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Acute care experience preferred
- Previous/recent travel experience required
- Must be willing to work the facility's set schedule with no restrictions
- Proof of flu vaccination required, declinations not accepted
- Proof of COVID vaccination required, declinations not accepted
Additional Information
- Delivers physical therapy services through patient evaluation, goal setting, and treatment plan development in accordance with state PT practice standards
- Treats multiple patient populations within an acute care setting, including at least one high-risk population
- Participates in team and interdisciplinary meetings
- Demonstrates proficiency in standardized testing, documentation, and EMR navigation
- Manages caseload according to productivity standards, treating at least 2 high-risk patients per hour
- Located on a suburban campus affiliated with a 257-licensed-bed acute and sub-acute care facility handling over 23,000 admissions and 52,000 ER visits annually
- Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction and no rate change
- Candidates may request RTO up to the equivalent of one contracted work week
