Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and document findings, goals, care plans, and progress according to clinical documentation standards.
- Implement physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy and trigger point therapy, using appropriate medical equipment.
- Communicate clearly with patients, clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals about treatment and progress.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR), using consistent medical terminology.
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care across outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and acute care.
Qualifications
- Required qualifications depend on the position: Physical Therapists must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT); Physical Therapy Assistants must meet applicable education, licensure, and practice requirements.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, patient care, and physical therapy documentation.
- Ability to operate relevant medical equipment and manage EHR records accurately.
- Experience in one or more settings is valued, including outpatient or clinic care, inpatient care, skilled nursing facilities, acute care, or home health.
- Geriatrics or pediatrics experience is a plus.
Pay: Up to $85.00 per hour
