Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our interventional psychiatry mental health team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric care across diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You will deliver ground breaking treatment including ketamine infusion therapy, spravato, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, you will oversee medication management, and a strong team of forward thinking individuals. You will provide evidence-based treatments, conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Your expertise will help shape innovative mental health services in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Training in interventional psychiatry will be provided to the right candidate. Strong IV skills and patient care skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations for patients of all ages.
• Provide Ketamine infusion therapy and Intramuscular Ketamine Treatments, as well as oversee ketamine troche management.
• See and develop both cash pay and insurance based care.
• Deliver and oversee Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
• Provide medication management and monitor treatment efficacy while adhering to DEA regulations and health policy standards.
• Offer in depth psychiatric care with an overall less is more ethos, ultimately as a practice we want to see people less over time
• Utilize a well cultivated, wrap around services model that provides true healing, not just symptom management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including primary care, specialists, therapists, psychologists, other psychiatric providers, nurses, technicians and other inpatient/outpatient services.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with advancements in clinical psychiatry, addiction medicine, PTSD care, and other specialized areas like pediatric and geriatric psychiatry.

Requirements

• Valid medical license or nurse practitioner certification in good standing; board certification in psychiatry or psychiatric mental health preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with children, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Proven expertise in psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and psychotherapy modalities.
• Experience working in hospital settings or outpatient clinics, with familiarity in inpatient experience highly valued.
• Unrestricted Arizona practitioner license as well as active DEA license with prescriptive authority. Physician assistants need not apply (sorry).
• Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, medical terminology, drug enforcement regulations (DEA), and healthcare diagnosis procedures.
• Skilled in crisis management, behavioral health interventions, and working with complex patient populations such as those with PTSD or substance use disorders.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems, medical records documentation, and telehealth platforms for remote patient care.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $79,800.00 - $179,947.88 per year
