A growing, established multidisciplinary behavioral health practice in South Florida is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and collaborative Psychiatrist to join our clinical team.

Our practice provides comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our multidisciplinary team includes licensed clinicians, registered interns, qualified supervisors, and psychiatric providers working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Position Overview

The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care while collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to support continuity of care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist seeking to join an established outpatient mental health practice with a strong internal referral network, administrative support, and opportunities for flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up appointments
• Develop individualized treatment recommendations based on clinical needs
• Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and treatment progress
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate with therapists and other members of the treatment team when clinically appropriate
• Coordinate care with referring providers as appropriate
• Provide appropriate referrals when a client requires a higher level of care or services outside the scope of the practice
• Follow applicable professional, ethical, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain appropriate standards for patient safety, clinical quality, and continuity of care

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program
• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active DEA registration and ability to prescribe medications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Professional liability/malpractice coverage as required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health practice
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
