Job Description:
To operate the Company aircraft as called upon, providing safe, comfortable, and efficient air transportation within established Company policies and government regulations.
Principal Duties:
- Acts as PIC or SIC, ensures safety of flight, airworthiness of company aircraft, and meets passengers’ needs.
- Reviews weather, NOTAMs, and calculates aircraft Performance and Weight and Balance.
- Files flight plans and ensures compliance with FAA regulations and ICAO standards. Operates aircraft in compliance with Manufacturer and Company SOPs.
- Addresses passenger needs such as security requirements, ground transportation, catering, and baggage handling.
- Contributes to the Flight Department’s SMS through active participation and hazard identification and reporting.
- Trains and maintains certification on NS aircraft.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Education:
Preferred Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Majors: None listed
Job Related Experience:
Minimum Level: 1,500 hours total time; 500 hours multi-engine turbine;
Preferred Level: 6-10 years corporate flying experience; 5,000 hours total time; 2,500 hours multiengine Jet; recent International Experience.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: ATP-CTP completed; valid US Passport; FAA First Class Medical
Preferred: ATP; CL-604 Type Rating (604/605/650) or EMB-550 Type Rating.
Technical Skills:
- Must possess a strong knowledge of aircraft systems, Avionics, Air Traffic Control procedures, FAR’s, and navigational systems and procedures.
