Strategy Associate Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy associate in Georgia?
The most direct path is completing a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or engineering, then joining a Georgia-based consulting firm, corporate strategy team, or investment fund as an analyst before stepping up to an associate role. Georgia does not require a state-issued license for strategy associates, but employers at Delta, NCR, or Emory Healthcare typically expect a strong academic record, internship experience in strategy or finance, and often an MBA for senior associate tracks.
Which companies hire strategy associates in Georgia?
Employers hiring strategy associates in Georgia right now include DoorDash, BD, and PwC, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major healthcare systems means consistent demand from both corporate and consulting-side employers operating in the state.
Which Georgia cities have the most strategy associate jobs?
Atlanta, Fairburn, and Covington have the most strategy associate openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates because it hosts the Southeast's densest cluster of Fortune 500 headquarters, management consulting offices, and private equity firms, while Alpharetta draws roles from the large technology and financial services companies that have established campuses there, and Savannah's growing logistics and manufacturing sector supports a smaller but expanding pool of operational strategy positions.
Are there remote strategy associate jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields, since strategy associate work is fundamentally desk-based, analytical, and centered on documents and presentations that travel easily across teams. About 50% of strategy associate openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting widespread employer flexibility for this role type. The parts of the work most likely to stay fully remote are financial modeling, deck development, and market research, while stakeholder workshops and executive presentations tend to require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a strategy associate in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is an analyst or rotational program at one of Georgia's large corporate employers. Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola, and Emory Healthcare all run structured rotational or analyst programs designed for recent graduates without direct strategy experience, and McKinsey's Atlanta office recruits analyst-track candidates from Georgia Tech and Emory annually. Candidates who have completed a finance, data analytics, or operations internship, or who are transitioning from adjacent roles such as financial analyst or management consultant, have the clearest path. A strong quantitative portfolio or an MBA from a Georgia institution significantly strengthens any application.
Where can I find and apply to strategy associate jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to strategy associate jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings updated regularly. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your background and target location, and apply directly to each position without any additional steps.
