Mid Level Producer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level producer job?
Position yourself around ownership, not just contribution. Highlight projects where you led a deliverable from brief to launch, managed cross-functional stakeholders, and solved problems without being handed a solution. A strong portfolio that shows scope and decision-making carries more weight than a list of tools. Tailor your application to the specific medium or industry the employer works in, and be explicit about the scale of work you have handled.
Which companies hire mid level producers?
Companies hiring mid level producers right now include USI Insurance Services, MrBeast, and Nen Creative, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of studios, agencies, media companies, and in-house creative teams at larger brands that need producers who can run projects independently without heavy senior oversight.
Are there remote mid level producer jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by specialty and employer. About 18% of mid level producer openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how much production coordination work translates well to distributed teams. On-site roles tend to cluster around production-heavy environments where physical presence is tied to shoots, studios, or live events.
How do I move up to a mid level producer role?
The path from entry level to mid level is built on depth and demonstrated ownership over time. Early in your career, focus on learning the full production process rather than staying in one lane. Volunteer to own smaller projects completely, seek feedback from senior producers, and document the outcomes of your work with measurable results. Employers promoting or hiring at the mid level look for people who have already been doing the job, not just assisting with it.
Which industries hire the most mid level producers?
Mid level producer roles concentrate in Media & Entertainment, Technology & Software, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors drive consistent demand because they require ongoing content, campaign, or product output at a pace that needs experienced producers who can operate with real autonomy rather than requiring close supervision on every project.
