ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining new tools to support DPG (DRAM Product Group) teams in data extraction, analysis, visualization, alerts and reporting needs. Maintaining existing tools with user-training and support, debug, and new feature development. Serving as a DPG-wide point-of-contact for Micron data systems and infrastructure. Provide documentation, training and ad-hoc support for data and analysis tools to DPG users. Assisting teams to quickly assess inventory, yield, quality, reliability and product capability performance-to-plan and turn those into forward looking forecasts. Supporting custom data extraction needs of Technology & Product Group (TPG) Data Science partners. Maintaining a solid understanding of products and customer platforms. Crafting and developing new tools and metrics/KPI’s for helping to establish our leadership and innovation in the industry.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Position requires:
- Programming in Python and libraries in the Python ecosystem
- Mathplotlib, Tableau, JMP or High-charts
- Data analysis and visualization
- MySQL, MSSQL, Schema design, query writing, database optimization, and ORM definitions
- Google Cloud Platform
- Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn
- Version control (git), unit testing and DevOps methodologies
- Data Science algorithms and machine learning techniques
