Mid Level Product Development Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level product development manager job?
Position your experience around ownership and outcomes, not just tasks. Highlight specific projects you led from concept through launch, decisions you made without close supervision, and any cross-functional coordination you drove. Tailor your resume to show increasing scope over time, and use your cover letter to connect your background directly to the product area the employer is hiring for.
Which companies hire mid level product development managers?
Companies hiring mid level product development managers right now include Molex, Amazon, and 24 Seven Talent, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of established consumer brands, technology companies, and manufacturers looking for managers who can take projects forward without heavy guidance.
Are there remote mid level product development manager jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by industry and company size. About 32% of mid level product development manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, so flexible arrangements are a real option at this career stage. Filtering by work setting when you search helps you find openings that match your preferred setup quickly.
How do I move up to a mid level product development manager role?
Progressing from an early-career role to mid level requires building a record of end-to-end project ownership rather than task completion. Focus on taking on full product cycles, volunteering to coordinate across teams, and documenting measurable outcomes from your work. Developing a specialty, whether in a product category, manufacturing process, or market segment, signals the depth that mid level roles expect.
Which industries hire the most mid level product development managers?
