Field Learning Manager
Reports to: Senior Field Learning Manager
About the RoleAs a Field Learning Manager, you'll play a key role in developing the next generation of Smashburger leaders. You'll partner with restaurant operations to deliver engaging training programs, coach new managers, support restaurant openings, and ensure our teams have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced restaurant leader who is passionate about developing people and driving operational excellence.
What You'll Do- Lead and support Smashburger's Training Restaurant program, including certification, coaching, and annual recertification.
- Oversee the onboarding and development of new restaurant managers, ensuring they are prepared for success.
- Partner with Operations leaders to identify training opportunities and improve restaurant performance.
- Facilitate in-person, virtual, and hands-on training for restaurant teams.
- Support new menu launches, promotions, operational initiatives, and restaurant openings through effective training.
- Serve as a training and operations subject matter expert for your assigned markets.
- Help administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and track training completion and effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence.
- 2+ years of multi-unit restaurant management or restaurant training experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new technology platforms.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and restaurant training best practices is a plus.
