Do you have a background in construction management and a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and on scope? Are you someone who holds the details without losing sight of the big picture — and who earns trust with clients, contractors, and field teams alike?
Trackman is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Simulator Operations team. This role sits at the intersection of construction project management and technology deployment — overseeing the full lifecycle of indoor golf simulator installations across your assigned territory, from design confirmation through final sign-off. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, architects, general contractors, and AV/electrical teams, and the day-to-day driver ensuring every installation is built to spec, on schedule, and delivered to the standard our customers expect.
This is a high-output, high-accountability role. You will carry a portfolio of active projects simultaneously, maintain close relationships with regional sales representatives and installation teams, and be directly responsible for the quality and cadence of project delivery across your territory. If you thrive in an environment where no two weeks look the same and where your organizational discipline directly determines customer outcomes, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the full project lifecycle for simulator installations within your territory — from design phase confirmation and pre-construction coordination through installation execution and final client sign-off.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders: clients, architects, general contractors, electricians, and AV teams. Ensure space is constructed to Trackman specifications and all pre-installation prerequisites are confirmed and documented before installer dispatch.
- Conduct and lead design calls with all stakeholders to establish scope of work, confirm room dimensions and technical requirements, align on installation sequencing, and set clear expectations for the build process.
- Ensure all design schematics and room configurations are accurate, fully aligned with the client’s vision, and ready for field execution before work begins.
- Manage order procurement for each project — confirming that pricing, scope, and product specifications align with the signed Purchase Agreement and that all materials are ordered and tracked against the installation timeline.
- Provide active support to installation specialists during the week of installation, monitoring execution, addressing design questions in real time, and escalating scope or quality issues as needed.
- Hold weekly or biweekly coordination calls with Regional Installation Managers and scheduling coordinators to assign appropriate installer resources, conduct site visit planning, and incorporate field feedback into upcoming project preparation.
- Provide technical support to sales representatives within your territory; hold regular biweekly calls to brief on active projects, upcoming installations, and any open pre-install items requiring sales coordination.
- Execute monthly travel for site visits, pre-construction walkthroughs, and in-person meetings with clients and sales representatives within your territory.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project records across internal platforms (Monday.com, Salesforce) — ensuring all project status, communications, and milestones are captured in real time.
- Monitor and manage a concurrent portfolio of projects with a target throughput of 120 completed projects annually; flag scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, or design issues proactively and resolve before they impact the installation schedule.
- Respond to all client and stakeholder communications promptly and professionally. Serve as the face of Trackman Operations to our clients from contract through project close.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
- 3+ years of construction management or commercial project management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across geographically distributed sites.
- Strong command of construction sequencing, contractor coordination, and pre-construction planning — including the ability to read and interpret room schematics, architectural drawings, and technical specifications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and an uncompromising attention to detail; nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, sales representatives, and internal field teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage your own time independently, prioritize across a large and varied project portfolio, and self-start without direct supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you identify issues early, think through solutions thoroughly, and act with urgency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required). Experience with Monday.com, Salesforce, Google SketchUp or CAD, and Microsoft Navision is strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle; willingness to travel monthly within your territory.
- Collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in others’ perspectives — you listen before you lead and understand that strong field relationships are what make on-time delivery possible.
- Basic understanding of AV systems, IT infrastructure, or technology hardware is a plus; a willingness to develop deep product knowledge quickly is essential.
- Passion for the game of golf or interest in golf technology is a plus but not required.

Project Manager Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a project manager job in Phoenix?
Focus your search on Phoenix's construction and infrastructure sector, which drives consistent project manager demand tied to the city's rapid growth, alongside healthcare systems clustered in the Midtown medical corridor and technology employers in the Camelback and Tempe areas. Candidates with PMP certification and experience managing large-scale builds or healthcare IT implementations tend to stand out in this market.
Which companies hire project managers in Phoenix?
Companies currently hiring project managers in Phoenix include HDR, Burns & McDonnell, and Colliers Engineering & Design, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix's employer mix is weighted toward large healthcare networks, commercial real estate developers, and regional technology firms, many of which run ongoing project manager pipelines rather than one-off postings.
Are there remote project manager jobs in Phoenix?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role type. Construction and facilities project managers typically work on-site, while IT, software, and operations project managers more often qualify for remote or hybrid arrangements. About 24% of project manager openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. Technology and back-office project roles tied to Phoenix's growing fintech and SaaS employers offer the most remote flexibility.
How can I get a project manager job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is through a coordinator or project analyst role at one of the city's large construction firms or healthcare systems, both of which hire entry-level candidates and promote from within. Employers in the Valley's booming multifamily and commercial construction sector regularly hire junior project coordinators. Earning a CAPM certification and gaining hands-on experience through a coordinator role or an internship at a Phoenix developer or hospital network will open doors faster than applying to senior titles directly.
Which industries hire the most project managers in Phoenix?
Phoenix project manager roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Construction & Real Estate, and Staffing & Recruiting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix's sustained population growth and infrastructure investment keep construction project management in high demand, while the city's expanding healthcare networks and technology corridor generate consistent openings for IT and operations project managers.
