JOB DETAILS
We are seeking a skilled CMM Quality Inspector to support the inspection of tight-tolerance aerospace machined components in a clean, organized, and quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections on aerospace machined components
- Operate and/or program CMM equipment using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T callouts
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and height stands
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Identify non-conforming material and assist with root cause analysis activities
- Collaborate with machining, manufacturing, and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and customer specifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, CMM inspection, or precision machining inspection
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T
- Experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with precision measuring and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
