SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for the performance of general diagnostic imaging procedures on patients utilizing a computer-based system for patient record and image storage. Intern will perform exams in a variety of clinical settings within the Main and Children’s Hospital on adult, pediatric, geriatric, and trauma patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be in good standing in the Penn State ARRT Allied Health program
- Minimum six (6) months of clinical experience as a student in the radiology department
- Must have passed all related exam competencies as set forth by the program guidelines and ARRT
- BLS certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Computer skills as well as working knowledge of hospital RIS and PACS system
