Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Professional (MHP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic support and skill-building services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This is a rewarding opportunity to create meaningful change while working in a flexible and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide CPST services and support implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Monitor, assess, and document client progress in accordance with agency and Medicaid guidelines
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support emotional regulation, coping, and daily functioning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including families, schools, and other providers
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Facilitate individual and/or group-based therapeutic services when appropriate
Qualifications & Experience
REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Active Louisiana licensure required: PLPC, LPC, PLMFT, LMFT, LMSW, CSW, or LCSW
Preferred:
- Experience in community-based or behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, etc.)
- Experience with crisis intervention and case coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
