The Operations Manager ensures the company has the right operational controls, administrative procedures, and reporting processes to support growth and efficiency. This position will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising administrative activities while assisting with meeting the goals of multiple departments. Candidates will also have analytic depth, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to navigate and implement new technology. They will work closely with the Vice President of the brokerage.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and documenting policies, procedures, and systems and follow through with implementation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Coordination with a virtual team to support company initiatives.
- Achieve performance goals while supporting our culture and mission
- Prepare reports and audits to monitor and improve operational effectiveness.
- Understand the daily activities and duties of each department and ensure that they are running smoothly at all times.
- Implement productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and resolve problems.
- Analyze process workflow and employee requirements; suggest or implement changes.
- Plan and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual company events.
- Develop and implement quality control and training programs that foster customer service, quality, efficiency, employee development, and company core values.
- Ability to manage competing demands; Change approach or method to best fit the situation; Flexibility to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Display willingness to make decisions; Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and make timely decisions.
- Demonstrate group presentation skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and budget in an efficient, productive manner with a focus on key priorities.
- Ability to identify and implement new technology to increase productivity and efficiency.
- A strategic and systems approach to problem-solving is a must
Requirements
- 3+ years of significant business and management experience in an operational role
- A track record for creating systems and processes and raising efficiency to meet company goals.
- Experience with integrating scalable computer systems and technologies preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Spanish-speaking preferred
