Job Overview
Phygital Grp
AI Professional – Agents, Automation & Growth Systems
Full-Time · Remote
About the Role
Phygital Grp is hiring a hands-on AI professional to design, build, and ship the AI systems that power our business — from autonomous agents and internal software to CRM automations and marketing/sales tooling. This is a builder role: you'll move from idea to working product, owning projects end to end rather than handing off to someone else.
What You'll Do
- Design and build AI agents that automate real workflows across sales, marketing, and operations
- Develop custom software and internal tools that integrate AI into day-to-day business processes
- Build and maintain CRM automations — lead routing, scoring, follow-ups, and pipeline reporting
- Create AI-powered sales and marketing tools (outreach automation, content generation, lead qualification, personalization at scale)
- Integrate AI models and APIs (LLMs, embeddings, voice, etc.) into existing platforms and workflows
- Prototype quickly, test with real users, and iterate based on what actually moves the needle
- Evaluate and stand up new AI tools, frameworks, and platforms as the space evolves
- Document systems and train team members on new AI-driven workflows
What You Bring
- Proven experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications (production, not just prototypes)
- Strong software development skills — comfortable owning a build from architecture to deployment
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, or similar) and building automations within them
- Working knowledge of sales and marketing workflows and how AI can improve conversion, speed, and personalization
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make), and modern dev tooling
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and ship in a fast-moving, remote environment
- Strong communication skills — able to explain technical systems to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with voice AI / conversational agents
- Background in growth, demand gen, or revenue operations
- Familiarity with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and agent orchestration frameworks
- Prior experience in an early-stage or fast-scaling company
What Phygital Grp Offers
- Full-time, fully remote role with flexible hours
- High ownership — you'll shape how AI is used across the company, not just execute tickets
- Direct access to leadership and fast decision-making
- Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
Work Location: Remote

Tips for Your Remote AI Strategy Manager Job Search
Show your async AI leadership style
Remote employers want evidence you can drive AI strategy without daily check-ins. Build a public portfolio of written strategy memos, AI roadmaps, or case studies that show how you have structured and communicated AI decisions clearly to distributed stakeholders.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote ai strategy manager openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly. Getting your application in early matters because competitive remote roles close faster than on-site ones.
Target remote-first companies specifically
Remote-first firms build their workflows around distributed collaboration, so ai strategy managers integrate faster and have more autonomy. Look for companies that use async-first tools like Notion, Loom, or Confluence and that publish remote work policies publicly, because they have already solved the infrastructure problem.
Prepare for the remote AI strategy interview
Remote interviews for this role almost always include a written exercise or async presentation component. Practice articulating AI strategy trade-offs in writing, not just verbally, and be ready to walk through how you would run an AI discovery process or roadmap session entirely over video and collaborative documents.
Remote AI Strategy Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote ai strategy manager job?
Remote employers screen ai strategy managers for self-direction, crisp written communication, and the ability to move AI initiatives forward without in-person oversight. Companies hiring remotely for this role tend to be remote-first tech firms, digital-native consultancies, and enterprise teams running distributed operations. What gives candidates an edge is a clear portfolio of AI initiatives they have driven end to end, strong async communication habits, and fluency with tools like Notion, Slack, and AI roadmapping frameworks.
Which companies hire remote ai strategy managers?
Employers currently hiring remote ai strategy managers include Databricks, Pacvue, and CVS Health, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These tend to be remote-first technology companies, AI-native startups, and large enterprises with distributed product or digital transformation teams operating across multiple time zones.
Can you get a remote ai strategy manager job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level roles in this space are harder to land because employers expect you to work independently from day one with minimal hand-holding. Candidates break in by targeting smaller remote-first startups or internal AI task forces at mid-size companies, and by showing tangible output: a published AI strategy framework, a documented process improvement using AI tools, or a case study from freelance or volunteer work.
Do you need a degree for remote ai strategy manager jobs?
Not always, though many remote employers list a degree as a baseline expectation. What remote hiring managers weigh more heavily is demonstrated ability to build and execute AI strategy: published work, measurable results from past AI initiatives, and fluency with modern AI platforms and governance frameworks. A strong portfolio of real outcomes can offset the absence of a formal credential at many companies.
Which industries hire the most remote ai strategy managers?
Remote ai strategy manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Education, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors hire remotely because their product, data, and transformation teams are already distributed, making async AI strategy work a natural fit for their operating model.
