Senior Operations Research Analyst
Location: Baltimore, MD
Clearance: Public Trust or able to obtain

We are actively seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst to support our civilian client. This analyst will apply advanced analytical and mathematical techniques to evaluate, optimize, and improve logistics and business processes. They will also support strategic planning, resource allocation, asset and system support optimization, and continuous improvement.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to include in our proposal for an upcoming government contract. Applicants selected may be contacted for further steps if the contract is awarded.
Work Description:
In support of this civilian client, the Senior Operations Research Analyst will apply advanced analytical, mathematical, and data-driven techniques to evaluate and improve logistics, supply chain, acquisition, and sustainment processes. The analyst will analyze large data sets, use tools such as statistical analysis, simulation, modeling, linear programming, and data mining, and translate findings into practical recommendations, business plans, policies, procedures, performance measures, and leadership-ready presentations. Strong candidates will bring at least 10 years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with logistics, supply chain management, business analysis, and performance improvement in a fast-paced client environment.
Responsibilities: The Senior Operations Research Analyst will support tasks such as:
- Conduct analysis related to planning, acquisition, and sustainment of logistics
- Apply analytic techniques including statistical analysis, simulation, computer modeling, linear programming, and data mining
- Analyze large data sets using modern programming languages and tools
- Develop business plans, policies, procedures, and performance measures
- Present analyses to leadership and project teams in clear, actionable formats
Minimum Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years of experience in a relevant position
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with the following: logistics, supply chain management, analytical techniques, business analysis, and performance measurementimprovement
