In the role of Resident Engineer, we'll count on you to:
- Perform complex construction assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard construction engineering techniques and procedures
- Conduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and scheduling
- Receive, issue and track RFIs, submittals and other required data
- Perform other duties as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field
- Previous construction engineering experience
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Estimating & CPM Scheduling Software, and web-based document collaboration software.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 10 years experience in construction engineering
- Local candidates preferred
