Salesforce Solution Architect Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a salesforce solution architect in Texas?
The most direct path is earning Salesforce's Certified Application Architect or Certified System Architect credential, both of which are nationally recognized and universally expected by Texas employers. Texas has no state-issued license for this role. Most candidates build toward architecture from Salesforce administrator or developer roles, accumulating hands-on project experience before pursuing architect-level certifications. Large Texas employers in financial services, healthcare, and energy typically expect multiple Salesforce certifications and several years of end-to-end implementation experience before hiring at the architect level.
How much do salesforce solution architects make in Texas?
Salesforce solution architects in Texas earn a median of about $130,610 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $78,730 for the lowest 10% to over $201,850 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire salesforce solution architects in Texas?
Employers hiring salesforce solution architects in Texas right now include Salesforce, Aaa Texas, and Capgemini, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, large healthcare networks, and energy companies creates consistent demand for architects who can scale enterprise Salesforce environments across complex organizations.
Which Texas cities have the most salesforce solution architect jobs?
Dallas, Austin, and Irving are the Texas cities with the most salesforce solution architect openings, driven by their density of enterprise employers. Dallas and Houston anchor demand through large financial services firms, healthcare systems, and energy conglomerates, while Austin's technology sector and growing base of software companies and consulting firms make it a strong market for Salesforce architecture talent as well.
Are there remote salesforce solution architect jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. Salesforce solution architecture is largely a desk-based, collaborative role that translates well to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 32% of salesforce solution architect openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how effectively the work can be done outside a physical office. Discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and stakeholder sessions are the parts most likely to require occasional in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a salesforce solution architect in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting as a Salesforce administrator or junior developer, then progressing toward architect roles as you accumulate certifications and project scope. Large Texas consulting firms like Deloitte, Accenture, and Slalom run associate and analyst programs that recruit candidates with Salesforce Administrator certification and limited professional experience. Healthcare systems and financial institutions in Dallas and Houston also hire Salesforce business analysts and junior developers as stepping stones. Earning multiple Salesforce certifications before applying substantially strengthens a candidate's position when competing for entry-level architect or technical lead roles.
Where can I find and apply to salesforce solution architect jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to salesforce solution architect jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across industries and metro areas. Find roles that fit your experience and specialization, then apply directly to the ones that match.
