We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?
The Team
Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?
You will sit at the intersection of Product, IT, and the broader business, helping the team focus on the highest-value work. This role combines classic technical product management with hands-on Enterprise AI delivery: you will create clarity from intake, shape roadmaps, communicate tradeoffs, and personally test and validate the automations and agents that improve how work gets done. You will partner with technical and business leaders in a fast-moving environment where thoughtful experimentation and operational rigor matter.
The Role
What type of work will you be doing:
- Own the project and product intake process for Enterprise AI and IT; create lightweight standards for requests, discovery, prioritization, sizing, and decision-making.
- Maintain and communicate a clear roadmap across IT platforms, internal tools, AI capabilities, and automation initiatives; make dependencies, risks, milestones, and tradeoffs visible.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through launch and adoption, coordinating Engineering, IT, Security, Data, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business pain points into well-defined opportunities, requirements, user stories, success measures, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
- Identify, evaluate, and lead Enterprise AI use cases, including workflow automation, knowledge assistants, copilots, and task-oriented agents.
- Be hands-on with AI automation and agents: design test scenarios, create representative test data, evaluate accuracy, reliability, and safety, document findings, and drive improvements before release.
- Establish practical validation and monitoring approaches for prompts, tools, permissions, data access, human-in-the-loop controls, and failure modes.
- Coordinate pilots and rollouts; manage change communications, enablement, documentation, and feedback loops so solutions are adopted and produce measurable value.
- Provide concise executive and stakeholder communications on progress, decisions, outcomes, and risks; partner with IT on platform and vendor evaluations, integrations, incident follow-up, and operational readiness.
What You'll Bring
Your experience and strengths:
- 5+ years of product management, technical program management, business systems, IT, or related experience, with a track record of delivering cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Experience running AI enablement and transformation initiatives from pilot to production.
- Curiosity, pragmatism, and a builder mindset; willing to get into the details, learn new tools quickly, and improve the system after every iteration.
- Experience managing an intake process and roadmap across multiple stakeholders, balancing strategic priorities with urgent operational needs.
- Working knowledge of enterprise IT concepts, SaaS applications, integrations and APIs, identity and access management, data flows, security, and change management.
- Hands-on experience evaluating AI products, automation workflows, or agents; comfortable testing real scenarios, probing edge cases, and separating demos from dependable solutions.
- Strong understanding of AI quality and risk considerations, including accuracy, groundedness, privacy, permissions, security, reliability, observability, and human oversight.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements, experiments, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor a message for executives, technical teams, and business users.
- Strong judgment, organization, and follow-through; comfortable making progress with incomplete information and changing priorities.
- Experience in a startup, high-growth, or software/SaaS company is ideal.

Senior AI Product Manager Jobs in Austin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior ai product manager job in Austin?
Target Austin's strongest hiring pockets: enterprise SaaS companies clustered in the Domain and North Austin, healthtech firms near the medical district, and the growing fintech scene downtown. Candidates who can demonstrate AI roadmap ownership, cross-functional leadership at scale, and familiarity with data-driven product development stand out. Networking through Austin tech meetups and the local product management community also opens doors that job boards alone won't.
Which companies hire senior ai product managers in Austin?
Austin senior ai product manager roles are posted by AMD, Mirantis, and Arm and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Austin's hiring base is broad, ranging from large enterprise tech employers and Fortune 500 regional headquarters to fast-scaling startups that have relocated from the Bay Area.
Are there remote senior ai product manager jobs in Austin?
Yes, though many senior ai product manager roles tied to Austin require at least some in-person presence given the strategic and cross-functional nature of the work. About 89% of senior ai product manager openings tied to Austin are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with fully remote roles more common at companies whose engineering teams are already distributed. Strategy, roadmap, and stakeholder work is most often done on-site or hybrid.
How can I get a senior ai product manager job in Austin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Austin is moving laterally from a data, engineering, or traditional product management role into an AI-focused position. Austin's mid-size SaaS and healthtech companies regularly hire associate or mid-level PMs willing to own AI feature areas from day one. Building a portfolio of AI product experiments, contributing to Austin's active startup ecosystem, and earning a relevant certification in machine learning product management all strengthen a transition application here.

Austin's role as a hub for enterprise technology companies, a growing life sciences corridor, and a wave of fintech relocations from New York and San Francisco all drive concentrated demand for senior AI product leadership locally.
