Electrical Project Manager (Succession Track)
Location: Dickinson, North Dakota
Position Summary
YES, LLC is seeking a high-performing Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Dickinson, North Dakota. This role is part of our succession planning strategy and is intended for individuals ready to grow into senior leadership roles within the organization. The ideal candidate will lead projects from preconstruction through commissioning with a strong focus on cost control, schedule, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical construction projects from kickoff through closeout
- Lead project teams including foremen, subcontractors, and vendors
- Drive schedule performance and proactively manage risks
- Own project P&L performance including cost tracking and forecasting
- Ensure accurate job costing, labor tracking, and billing alignment
- Manage change orders, T&M work, and contract compliance
- Support estimating, bid reviews, and scope development
- Coordinate with engineering, controls, and instrumentation teams
- Serve as primary client contact and maintain relationships
- Enforce safety standards and ensure quality compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience
- Strong background in industrial or commercial electrical systems
- Proven ability to manage project financials and drive profitability
- Experience with design-assist, commissioning, and field coordination
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
- Industrial & commercial applications, utilities, med-voltage and industrial facility experience
- Automation, controls, or instrumentation exposure
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience
