INTRODUCTION
At Quantcast, we don't just build advertising technology, we revolutionize how it works. Our AI-powered Demand Side Platform (DSP) connects the world's most ambitious marketers with their ideal audiences across the open internet, delivering results that actually move the needle. Since 2006, we've been the industry's trailblazer, launching the first AI-powered measurement platform for publishers and the first AI-driven DSP. Our AI doesn't just optimize—it delivers the measurable outcomes that matter most to our clients, giving them the competitive edge they need in a crowded marketplace. Ready to join the team that's defining the future of digital advertising? We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our IT Enterprise Applications team. This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role designed for a "technical athlete" who can move fluidly between complex code and operational architecture. You will own the performance, deployment, and data integrity of quantcast.com. You aren't just executing tasks; you are architecting the bridge between Marketing’s vision and high-performance engineering. You will lead the transition toward a modern, headless approach, managing a stack that includes Builder.io (CMS), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Salesforce. While your background may be in traditional web technologies, a key component of this role is the proactive willingness and ability to learn how to deploy Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) to unify our front-end and CRM ecosystems.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do
- Architectural Ownership (40%): Lead the technical strategy for our headless CMS (Builder.io) and GTM instrumentation. Define standards for custom HTML tags, complex triggers, and data layer governance to ensure high-fidelity marketing analytics.
- Custom Engineering & LWC (30%): Develop modular, standalone ES6+ JavaScript. A critical focus will be the development and maintenance of Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) (optional but a bonus) to create seamless data bridges between our web presence and Salesforce.
- DevOps & Automation (20%): Own and optimize our CI/CD pipelines. You will design and maintain GitHub Actions workflows to automate testing and deployment, ensuring a "fail-safe" global shipping velocity.
- Strategic Stakeholder Leadership (10%): Act as a technical consultant to Marketing and Engineering leadership. You will translate high-level business goals into scalable technical specifications and lead the "triage" of complex, cross-system issues.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- System Reliability: Significant reduction in manual deployment errors through advanced automation.
- Architectural Flexibility: Successful implementation of custom JS and LWC solutions that bypass standard "out-of-the-box" tool limitations.
- Data Accuracy: Perfect synchronization between web interactions (GTM/DataLayer) and downstream Salesforce lead tracking.
- Execution Velocity: Measured improvement in the time-to-market for global marketing initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Although this role is remote, you must be based in WA.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional web development experience in a complex, global environment. (We value expertise and demonstrated impact; if you have 4 years of extraordinary results, we still want to hear from you).
- Technical Mastery:
- Advanced JavaScript: Expert-level ES6+ skills are mandatory.
- LWC Willingness: You must have a strong desire to work within the Salesforce ecosystem. Whether you are already an LWC expert or a Senior JS Developer ready to master it, willingness to own LWC development is key to this role.
- Headless & MarTech: Proven experience with API-first CMS platforms (Builder.io preferred) and expert-level Google Tag Manager (GTM) management.
- Modern DevOps: Practical experience writing YAML for GitHub Actions and managing automated deployment environments.
- The "Technical Athlete" Mindset: You are comfortable debugging a tracking pixel one hour and architecting a global deployment workflow the next.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical constraints into clear strategic options for non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Google Analytics/GTM Professional Certification.
- Experience mentoring junior developers or establishing documentation standards for technical teams.
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range: $128,700 - $149,600 USD
At Quantcast, we craft offers that reflect your unique skills, expertise, and geographic location. On top of a competitive salary, this position includes a performance bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. For more details, visit our Careers Page and see how we support our team.
