As an Fireplace Service Technician, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands-on training in fireplace maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
You don't need previous fireplace experience. If you're comfortable using tools, enjoy solving problems, and are eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Assist experienced technicians with servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing gas, wood, electric, and pellet fireplaces and stoves.
- Learn to diagnose mechanical issues and perform basic repairs.
- Perform routine fireplace cleaning, preventative maintenance, and chimney sweeping.
- Assist with inspections and maintenance of chimney and venting systems.
- Work in customers' homes while providing friendly, professional service.
- Learn industry safety standards, proper equipment handling, and best practices.
- Develop the skills needed to eventually handle service calls independently.

- Basic experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning how things work.
- A willingness to learn a skilled trade and grow professionally.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable interacting with customers in their homes.
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, climb ladders, work on roofs, and navigate attics or crawlspaces.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Experience in HVAC, construction, general maintenance, appliance repair, automotive repair, or other hands-on trades is a plus, but not required.
