How do I get a solutions architect job in Atlanta?
Target Atlanta's densest hiring corridors: Midtown's technology and consulting firms, Buckhead's financial services companies, and the Cumberland/Galleria area's enterprise software employers. Cloud platform experience, particularly AWS and Azure, carries significant weight with Atlanta hiring managers. Candidates who can speak to hybrid multi-cloud architectures for regulated industries, especially financial services and healthcare IT, stand out consistently in this market.
Which companies hire solutions architects in Atlanta?

Atlanta's employer mix skews toward large financial institutions, global consulting firms with Southeast regional hubs, and a growing cluster of homegrown technology companies anchored in Midtown.
Are there remote solutions architect jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though it depends on the role: solutions architects in pure design and advisory functions work remotely far more often than those tied to hands-on infrastructure deployment or on-site client engagements. About 39% of solutions architect openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with fully remote roles most common at cloud-native software companies based in or hiring from the Atlanta area.
How can I get a solutions architect job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is moving into a junior or associate solutions architect role through an IT consulting firm or one of Atlanta's large managed service providers, which regularly hire pre-sales and associate technical roles. Cloud certifications, particularly AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, are a concrete differentiator with Atlanta employers. Georgia Tech's continuing education programs and Atlanta-area tech bootcamps also feed entry-level candidates into local employer pipelines.
Which industries hire the most solutions architects in Atlanta?
Most solutions architect openings in Atlanta sit in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Accounting & Auditing, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026.
