The TPG Workforce Development AI Workflow Integration Specialist partners with subject matter experts and leaders to transform workforce development functions through the integration of AI, automation, and process optimization. This role focuses on improving efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness across Onboarding, On-the-Job Training (OJT) Operations, and Technical Training. This role ensures AI is embedded into daily workflows, enabling teams to reduce manual effort, improve execution speed, and adopt new, innovative ways of working.
Micron's Technology & Products Group (TPG) Workforce Development team is seeking an AI Workflow Integration Specialist to drive the adoption and implementation of AI-enabled solutions across Onboarding, On-the-Job Training (OJT) Operations, and Technical Training. In this role, you will analyze existing workflows, identify automation opportunities, and design AI copilots, agents, and workflow automations that improve efficiency, quality, and cycle time. You'll partner closely with leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are aligned to business priorities and sustainably integrated into daily operations. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of process improvement, AI tooling, and workforce enablement.
Responsibilities
- Identify, design, and implement AI-enabled solutions to enhance Onboarding, OJT Operations, and Technical Training workflows
- Analyze and streamline existing processes to standardize and optimize workflows prior to automation
- Develop and pilot AI copilots, agents, and workflow automations using approved tools and platforms
- Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to integrate AI into training content development, OJT execution, and onboarding experiences
- Improve efficiency and quality of training development, documentation, and OJT processes through automation and reuse of standardized components
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize high-impact use cases and align solutions to business needs
- Analyze and report on process improvements, including cycle-time reduction, efficiency gains, and quality outcomes
- Support upskilling of WFD team members to effectively integrate AI into daily workflows
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Instructional Design, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement, workflow automation, or AI/ML solution implementation
- Demonstrated experience designing or deploying AI-assisted tools, copilots, or automation workflows in a business environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to map, assess, and optimize complex processes
- Proficiency with AI platforms and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or similar)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a workforce development, learning & development, or training operations environment
- Familiarity with onboarding, OJT, or technical training program design and delivery
- Experience with process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Hands-on experience building AI agents, prompt engineering, or leveraging large language models in enterprise workflows
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, repeatable AI-enabled solutions
- Experience with data analysis and reporting on operational metrics (cycle time, throughput, quality)
- Background in semiconductor manufacturing or technology industry is a plus
