INTRODUCTION
Oracle is seeking a Principal-level Supply/Demand Planner to drive end-to-end planning for assigned products, partnering with Sourcing, Demand Management, Finance, and suppliers to build resilient supply plans, optimize inventory strategies, and quickly resolve supply-demand imbalances that impact revenue, customer delivery, and margin.
This is a highly visible role for a self-directed planner who can operate independently, lead cross-functional execution, and communicate forward-looking supply capability to senior leadership in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and own supply plans in partnership with Sourcing Management, Demand Management, and suppliers to meet customer and business commitments.

- Identify and resolve supply-demand gaps (shortages/excess) and lead cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions that protect revenue and margin.
- Assess forward-looking revenue capability and supply risk, providing clear insights and scenarios to senior leadership for decision-making.
- Coordinate supply allocations when required, partnering with internal teams and suppliers to optimize outcomes and ensure fair, transparent execution.
- Present business results and recommendations to stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, and business units—translating complex analysis into actionable plans.
- Improve planning processes and systems by contributing to the design, development, and evaluation of new tools, metrics, and operating rhythms.
- Mentor and guide junior planners, providing direction, specialist knowledge, and training; support senior planners and management on ad-hoc initiatives.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across Oracle lines of business and external suppliers, influencing without authority to drive alignment and results.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or similar (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in Supply/Demand Planning, Sourcing, or broader supply chain leadership (preferably in a related industry).
- Demonstrated experience communicating progress, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional and senior leadership audiences.
- Expert-level Excel skills (advanced modeling, pivots, forecasting/scenario analysis).

- 10+ years of experience in program/project management, product operations, supply chain planning, or related roles.
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or datacenter environments.
- Familiarity with cloud/platform environments such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), especially where supply planning is tied to capacity delivery.

Senior Level Supply Planner Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level supply planner job?
Employers at this level look for candidates who have owned end-to-end planning cycles, not just supported them. Demonstrated experience leading S&OP processes, driving inventory reduction initiatives, or managing planning across multiple distribution nodes gives candidates a clear edge. Strong proficiency in advanced planning systems, the ability to mentor junior planners, and a history of translating supply chain data into executive-level recommendations all signal readiness for senior responsibility.
Which companies hire senior level supply planners?
Companies hiring senior level supply planners right now include Oracle, Conmed, and Honeywell, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Hiring at this level covers large manufacturers, consumer goods companies, medical device firms, and retailers with complex multi-node distribution networks that require experienced planning leadership.
Are there remote senior level supply planner jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 13% of senior level supply planner openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how many organizations now support distributed supply chain functions. Fully remote roles tend to appear more often at technology-forward companies and firms that have invested in cloud-based planning platforms.
What makes a supply planner role senior level?
Senior level supply planner roles are defined by ownership and scope rather than task execution. These positions carry accountability for planning strategy, system improvements, and cross-functional alignment with procurement, operations, and finance. Senior planners are expected to lead projects independently, mentor junior team members, resolve escalated supply disruptions, and present findings and recommendations directly to supply chain leadership.
Which industries hire the most senior level supply planners?
Senior Level supply planner roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Medical Devices, and Electronics & Hardware, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because their supply chains are high-volume, globally sourced, or tightly regulated, creating sustained demand for planners who can manage complexity and lead continuous improvement efforts.
