Position Summary:
Seeking a hands-on QA Test Automation Lead with 12+ years of QA Automation experience to lead quality initiatives, define test strategies, mentor team members, and build scalable automation frameworks. The role will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Business teams to ensure high-quality, reliable applications through robust test automation and quality engineering practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead QA automation efforts and drive quality strategy across projects.
- Define, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
- Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers on automation best practices.
- Perform web, API, and end-to-end automation testing.
- Implement and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, Karate, and JMeter.
- Integrate automation into Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum teams to identify risks and improve quality.
- Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and quality improvements.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release activities.
PREFERRED:
- Cloud-native and distributed systems experience.
- Performance/load testing with JMeter.
- Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
- AWS and DevOps exposure.
