Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Chef Concierge
Certify your hospitality credentials before applying
TN adjudicators scrutinize whether your education and professional background match the Hotel Manager category. A Les Clefs d'Or membership or a degree in hospitality management strengthens your credential package before you approach any U.S. employer.
Target properties in major convention markets
Large convention hotels and luxury independent properties in cities like Chicago, New York, and Las Vegas rely heavily on concierge infrastructure and are more likely to understand TN sponsorship requirements than boutique operators with limited HR resources.
Clarify the Hotel Manager classification early
The TN category lists Hotel Manager, not Chef Concierge specifically. Confirm with your prospective employer that the offer letter frames your duties around guest services management, not purely front-desk or administrative tasks, to satisfy CBP's classification review.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsoring employers
Searching for Chef Concierge roles that include TN sponsorship filters out the majority of postings. Migrate Mate surfaces U.S. hospitality employers actively open to TN candidates, saving you from applying blindly to companies unfamiliar with the visa process.
Ask HR to prepare the TN support letter before your border appointment
Canadian nationals can apply at a port of entry, but CBP officers expect a detailed employer support letter on arrival. Confirm your employer has documented your job title, duties, intended start date, and the USMCA category before you travel.
Understand Mexican nationals face a separate consular process
Unlike Canadian applicants, Mexican nationals must schedule a TN visa interview at a U.S. consulate and cannot use port-of-entry processing. Build at least four to eight weeks of lead time into your start-date negotiation to account for consulate appointment availability.

Find Chef Concierge JobsChef Concierge TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Chef Concierge qualify as a TN visa occupation?
Chef Concierge roles can qualify under the TN Hotel Manager category, but the classification is not automatic. Your offer letter must frame the position around guest services management and supervisory responsibilities. A purely operational or front-desk-focused role description is more likely to face a CBP or consular challenge, so the letter's language matters significantly.
How does TN visa sponsorship for Chef Concierge compare to H-1B?
TN sponsorship is faster, cheaper, and has no annual lottery, making it far more practical for hospitality professionals than H-1B. Canadian nationals can receive TN approval at a port of entry the same day. H-1B requires an April lottery selection, months of USCIS processing, and substantially higher employer costs. For Chef Concierge roles, TN is the realistic path if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship.
Can I find Chef Concierge jobs with TN sponsorship on Migrate Mate?
Yes. Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals searching for U.S. roles where employers are open to TN visa candidates. Rather than filtering through general job boards where sponsorship status is unclear, Migrate Mate surfaces hospitality postings from employers already familiar with the TN process, including Chef Concierge and hotel management roles.
What documents does my employer need to provide for my TN application?
Your employer must provide a support letter that includes your job title, a description of duties consistent with the Hotel Manager TN category, your qualifications, the employment terms, and confirmation that the position is temporary in nature. Canadian nationals present this at the port of entry. Mexican nationals submit it as part of their DS-160 consular application package.
How long is a TN visa valid for Chef Concierge roles, and can it be renewed?
TN status is granted in increments of up to three years and can be renewed indefinitely as long as you maintain a qualifying job offer. There is no lifetime cap on renewals. Canadian nationals can renew at a port of entry or via USCIS. Mexican nationals renew through a consular appointment. Each renewal requires updated documentation from your employer confirming the continued need for your role.
