Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as an Email Marketing Manager
Align your credentials to USMCA categories
TN status for Marketing professionals requires a baccalaureate degree in marketing, business, or a closely related field. If your degree is in communications or a non-business discipline, gather documentation showing your coursework directly supports the email marketing role's analytical and strategic functions.
Target employers experienced with visa sponsorship
Mid-size e-commerce, SaaS, and retail brands with recent visa filings frequently hire TN professionals in marketing roles and have demonstrated experience navigating work visa sponsorship. Prioritize companies that list remote or hybrid roles, as distributed teams are more accustomed to cross-border employment paperwork and supporting international hires through the TN application process.
Request a detailed TN support letter from your employer
Your employer's support letter must specify your job title, duties, and how your degree qualifies you for those duties. Vague descriptions like 'marketing work' are a common rejection trigger. Ask HR to map your email marketing responsibilities explicitly to the USMCA Marketing occupation definition.
Use Migrate Mate to find and file with sponsoring employers
Search Migrate Mate to identify Email Marketing Manager roles posted by employers actively offering TN sponsorship. Once you have an offer, Migrate Mate's filing service handles the documentation package so your employer submits a complete, correctly formatted TN support letter from day one.
Prepare for port-of-entry questions as a Canadian applicant
Canadian citizens do not need a visa stamp, but CBP officers at the port of entry will review your support letter, degree credentials, and job offer on the spot. Bring printed originals of all documents, not just digital copies, and be ready to explain how email marketing qualifies as a specialty occupation.
Negotiate a start date that accounts for Mexican consulate wait times
Mexican nationals must attend a consulate interview before entering in TN status. Consulate appointment availability varies significantly by location and season. Build at least four to six weeks into your offer letter start date to account for scheduling delays and avoid accepting a start date your timeline can't support.

Find Email Marketing Manager JobsEmail Marketing Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does an Email Marketing Manager role qualify for TN visa status?
Yes, provided your employer classifies the role under the USMCA's Marketing professional category and your duties center on strategy, analytics, or campaign management rather than purely administrative tasks. You'll also need a baccalaureate degree in marketing, business, or a closely related field. Roles focused solely on content writing without a strategic marketing component can face scrutiny at the border.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for Email Marketing Manager roles?
TN has no annual lottery, no cap for Canadian citizens, and can be approved at the port of entry on the same day. H-1B requires a cap-subject lottery, a USCIS petition, and months of processing. For Canadian professionals, TN is a faster and more predictable path to starting an Email Marketing Manager role in the U.S., with no filing fees paid to USCIS.
What documents does my employer need to provide for my TN application?
Your employer must provide a support letter on company letterhead that states your job title, a description of your duties, your qualifications, and your anticipated length of employment. The letter should explicitly connect your email marketing responsibilities to the USMCA Marketing occupation. You'll combine this with your degree credentials and, for Mexican nationals, present everything at your consulate interview.
How can I find Email Marketing Manager jobs that offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically to surface roles where employers are open to TN sponsorship, so you're not cold-applying to companies that don't understand the process. Filtering by TN-eligible positions saves time and connects you with employers who already have HR infrastructure to support your application from offer letter to border crossing.
Can I switch employers after starting an Email Marketing Manager role on TN status?
Yes, but you must obtain a new TN approval before starting work with the new employer. Canadian citizens can apply at the port of entry with a new support letter from the incoming company. Mexican nationals need a new consulate appointment. There is no grace period that allows you to begin working for a new employer while your new TN application is pending.
