INTRODUCTION
O'Hagan Meyer is seeking an experienced, service-oriented IT professional to join our growing internal Information Technology team. This position serves as a key member of the firm's national IT organization while acting as the primary local technology resource for our Northern California offices.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual who enjoys both the technical and people aspects of IT. The successful candidate will provide hands-on support to attorneys and staff, participate in technology initiatives and projects, and help strengthen the firm's technology infrastructure as O'Hagan Meyer continues to expand nationally.
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working independently, capable of managing competing priorities, and enjoys building trusted relationships with users while remaining closely connected to a collaborative IT team distributed across the country.

As the firm continues to grow, our internal IT team plays a critical role in supporting attorneys and professional staff while implementing modern technology solutions that improve efficiency, security, and client service.
Our IT organization combines hands-on user support with strategic initiatives focused on security, infrastructure modernization, operational excellence, and scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities
User Support & Service Delivery
- Serve as a primary technology resource for attorneys and staff in the firm’s Northern California offices
- This position is based in Downtown San Francisco and requires regular onsite presence within the firm's Northern California offices, including Sacramento and Fresno. Occasional travel to other office locations may be required.
- Provide in-person, remote, and phone-based technical support
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, connectivity, and peripheral issues
- Investigate and resolve user issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
- Track, document, and follow through on support requests from initial intake through resolution
- Coordinate equipment deployments, replacements, upgrades, and office technology needs
- Support conference room technology and meeting-related technology requirements
Technical Administration & Operations
- Assist with user account administration and support within Microsoft 365 and related platforms
- Support identity and access management processes under established security policies
- Assist with workstation deployment, patching, configuration, and lifecycle management
- Support document management and legal-specific applications utilized by the firm
- Escalate complex technical issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in firmwide IT projects and technology rollouts
- Assist with office expansions, relocations, and infrastructure improvements
- Contribute to IT documentation, procedures, and operational standards
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience, processes, and service delivery
- Assist with technology testing, implementation, and adoption efforts
- Willingness to take on other projects as assigned
Security & Compliance Support
- Promote technology security best-practices throughout the organization
- Support established security initiatives and operational controls
- Assist with endpoint security, access management, and related technology processes
- Help ensure adherence to firm technology standards and procedures

Requirements Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in an IT support, technical support, service desk, or IT operations role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments
- Experience supporting M365 applications and services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently within set environmental protocols with limited local supervision
- Ability to travel between Northern California office locations on a regular basis
- Ability to comfortably work with external vendors (for example, external MSP/MSSP resources, technical support with Dell or Microsoft)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer intermixed with regularly walking to various locations within the office
Preferred
- Experience supporting a law firm or a similar client-focused professional or financial services firm, or similarly client-focused environment
- Experience providing end-user support in a hybrid environment with a workforce of users working in-office and remotely
- Practical experience patching network switches and preparing/cabling workstations
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and Microsoft 365 administration
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) concepts and user administration
- Familiarity with Mimecast and Exchange Online
- Familiarity with Microsoft Conditional Access and MDM protocols
- Experience supporting document management systems such as iManage or similar DMS
- Exposure to cybersecurity best practices and security-minded IT operations
- Experience assisting with technology projects and deployments

- HR & Operations: Onboarding & Offboarding, Procurement Workflows, Policies & Protocols

Salary Range: $75,000 to $110,000 (based upon experience level)
