The impact you will have: As an Elementary Specialist PE Coordinator, you will support and collaborate with elementary PE teachers to strengthen physical education instruction and programming across schools. You will help build teacher capacity by providing guidance, sharing best practices, coordinating curriculum and resources, and supporting consistent, engaging, and high-quality PE experiences for students. Through collaboration, coaching, and program coordination, you will foster strong instructional practices and help create positive, inclusive physical education environments across the district. Who you are: You are a collaborative and knowledgeable physical education leader who is passionate about supporting fellow educators and strengthening PE programs across elementary schools. You bring strong instructional expertise, the ability to build positive relationships, and a commitment to sharing effective practices that promote engaging and inclusive physical education experiences. You are organized, proactive, and dedicated to supporting teacher growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with elementary PE teachers to support high-quality physical education instruction
- Sharing instructional strategies, resources, and best practices to strengthen PE programs across schools
- Supporting curriculum implementation and alignment across elementary sites
- Coordinating PE-related activities, events, and district initiatives
- Assisting with professional learning and ongoing support for elementary PE teachers
- Building positive relationships and fostering collaboration among PE staff across the district
- Supporting equitable and inclusive physical education practices for all students
- Communicating effectively with teachers, site leaders, and district staff to support program goals
What you bring:
- Resume and Letter of Introduction outlining desire and qualifications for this position
- Two (2) letters of reference from prior supervisors
- Transcripts of your undergraduate degree, and graduate degrees if applicable. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for application purposes only.
- Test Results: please attach CSET results and evidence of meeting the Basic Skills Requirement, such as CBEST, PRAXIS, SAT or ACT results

Note that this role is stipend base. You will receive a stipend twice per year.
