JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re now building a new AI Agent Platform to supercharge this mission — creating intelligent, autonomous systems that proactively surface insights, act on risk events, and continuously learn from billions of signals across our data engine. We’re looking for engineers who think fast, prototype faster, and love solving open-ended problems at the intersection of AI, full-stack development, and risk intelligence.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build full-stack systems powering Oscilar’s next-gen AI agents — from backend APIs and data pipelines to fast, interactive frontends.
- Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and Python for high-scale, event-driven processing of risk signals and fraud patterns.
- Experiment with agentic frameworks, LLM-driven automation, and reasoning systems to address fraud, risk scoring, and AML-related challenges.
- Collaborate directly with founders and product leaders to shape the architecture and roadmap of our agentic platform.
- Move fast — ship MVPs, test hypotheses with production data, and iterate weekly.
- Apply practical AI — using GenAI, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines for data storytelling, graph reasoning, and case automation.
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of experience as a Full-Stack or Backend Engineer (TypeScript, Python, React, Node, or similar).
- Proven ability to take products from zero to one in fast-moving environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, and cloud-native architectures (AWS / Kubernetes / modern CI/CD).
- Curiosity and hacker mentality — you learn new tools quickly and aren’t afraid to dive deep.
- Bonus: Experience with AWS Bedrock for building and scaling generative AI applications.
- Bonus: experience with LLM frameworks (LangGraph, Guardrails, LangChain, etc.) or building multi-agent or autonomous workflows.
- Bonus: background in financial risk, real-time decisioning, or fraud detection systems.
BENEFITS
- Compensation: Competitive salary and equity packages, including a 401k
- Flexibility: Remote-first culture — work from anywhere
- Health: 100% Employer covered comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with a top tier plan for you and your dependents (US)
- Balance: Unlimited PTO policy
- Technical: AI First company; both Co-Founders are engineers at heart; and over 50% of the company is Engineering and Product
- Culture: Family-Friendly environment; Regular team events and offsites
- Development: Unparalleled learning and professional development opportunities
- Impact: Making the internet safer by protecting online transactions

Which companies sponsor visas for senior fullstack software engineers in California?
Large tech employers including Google, Meta, Apple, Salesforce, Adobe, and Uber have consistent track records of H-1B sponsorship for senior fullstack roles in California. Mid-size companies and well-funded startups in the Bay Area and Los Angeles also sponsor regularly, particularly for senior-level hires where the specialized skill set is harder to fill domestically. Sponsorship patterns are visible through DOL LCA disclosure data.
Which visa types are most common for senior fullstack software engineer roles in California?
The H-1B is the most common visa for senior fullstack software engineers in California, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field. Candidates with extraordinary ability may pursue the O-1A. Those already holding TN visa status (Canadian or Mexican nationals) or E-3 visa status (Australian nationals) can also work in these roles without entering the H-1B lottery.
Which cities in California have the most senior fullstack software engineer sponsorship jobs?
The San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, San Jose, Mountain View, and Sunnyvale, accounts for the largest share of senior fullstack software engineer sponsorship jobs in California. Los Angeles is a growing hub, particularly in fintech, media tech, and consumer apps. San Diego has a notable cluster of biotech and defense-adjacent software roles. Remote-friendly California employers sometimes list roles with a California base regardless of where the work is performed.
How to find senior fullstack software engineer visa sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse senior fullstack software engineer roles in California without manually screening each posting. Because sponsorship willingness isn't always stated in standard job listings, using a platform built around that filter saves significant time. You can narrow results by location within California to focus on Bay Area, LA, or San Diego opportunities.
Are there state-specific considerations for senior fullstack software engineers seeking sponsorship in California?
California employers filing H-1B Labor Condition Applications must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and location, which the DOL determines using Bureau of Labor Statistics data. Senior-level roles in high-cost metros like San Francisco typically carry higher prevailing wage requirements than those in smaller cities. California's strong university pipeline from UC Berkeley, Stanford, and UCLA also means competition for sponsored roles at top employers is high at the senior level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored senior fullstack software engineer jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
