THE OPPORTUNITY
The Account Engineer Intern is a high-impact role designed to accelerate the customer journey from initial acquisition to successful platform adoption on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. You will support new and early-stage customers in achieving rapid implementation, quick value, and a world-class experience on the Snowflake platform. You will be tasked with developing solutions to help this fast-paced, growing organization of pioneers scale their impact to customers and the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for students eager to develop deep expertise in cloud data architecture, make a measurable impact on customer success, and contribute to one of the fastest-growing technology companies.
WHAT WE OFFER

WHAT WE EXPECT
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship
- Desired Class Level: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related fields
- Start Date: May 11, May 26th, or June 22nd
- End Date: July 31st, Aug 14th, Aug 28th, or Sept 4th
- Hands-on experience or coursework in SQL
- Foundational understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and core concepts of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and coding agents
- Ability to build solutions and demos quickly, with a team or independently
- Able to quickly understand problems and view them in the larger business context
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Fast learner with a strong growth mindset
WHAT SETS YOU APART
- SnowPro Core certification
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, especially in a data or application development context
- Experience with modern data technologies (e.g., CI/CD tooling, orchestration tools) or a basic understanding of Data Science concepts
- Experience in AI conferences or competitions
- Familiarity with NLP concepts like prompt engineering, chaining, and fine-tuning
- Familiarity with containers
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN / GAIN
- Experience working on a team with world-class Account Engineers, supporting real customer portfolios from acquisition through adoption
- Hands-on experience driving customer technical enablement, including architectural best practices, workload isolation, warehouse utilization, resource monitoring, and RBAC/security setup
- Experience delivering technical value using cutting-edge AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate customer solutions
- Exposure to outcome-based selling and strategic advisory, learning how to translate Snowflake platform capabilities into tangible business value for customers
- Experience creating and delivering scalable programs such as Hands-on Labs (HoLs) and webinars to educate customers on platform features and best practices
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal Snowflake teams including Professional Services, Support, and Product Management
- Deep expertise in the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, including Snowpark Container Services, Snowflake Cortex, Streamlit, and the Snowflake Native App framework

COMPENSATION
- The estimated pay range for this role is $33.00 - $35.00 per hour.
The successful candidate’s starting hourly rate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
