Which finance companies sponsor TN visas in Florida?
Several large financial institutions with significant Florida operations have a track record of sponsoring TN visa workers, including Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Raymond James, and Bank of America. Regional banks, insurance companies, and investment firms headquartered or regionally based in Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville also hire TN-eligible professionals. Sponsorship practices vary by employer and role, so direct outreach to hiring teams is worth pursuing.
Which cities in Florida have the most finance TN sponsorship jobs?
Miami generates the highest concentration of finance TN roles, driven by its position as a hub for international banking, wealth management, and Latin American capital flows. Tampa follows closely, with a growing fintech and financial services sector anchored by Raymond James and USAA. Jacksonville has a strong back-office and corporate finance presence, and Orlando is an emerging market for financial analysts and compliance professionals.
What types of finance roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN status covers several finance-related occupations, including Accountant, Financial Analyst, Computer Systems Analyst (relevant for fintech roles), and Economist. The role must match a qualifying TN occupation category and generally require a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field. Titles like portfolio analyst, risk analyst, and tax accountant can qualify depending on how the duties align with the approved occupation categories.
How do I find finance TN sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa type, the Finance industry, and Florida as your target state to see employers actively posting roles open to TN sponsorship. Because TN sponsorship does not require lottery entry or lengthy petition processes, more Florida finance employers are open to it than they are to H-1B sponsorship, which makes the job pool broader than many candidates expect.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in finance?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects compensation structures and is worth understanding when evaluating offers. Miami's finance market has a strong international and bilingual dimension, so Spanish fluency can be an asset for client-facing roles. Some Florida employers in banking and insurance are regulated at both state and federal levels, meaning certain roles may require additional licensing that exists independently of your TN status.
