WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist veterinarians with appointments, treatments, procedures, and patient care
- Obtain thorough patient histories and accurately record vital signs
- Provide safe, compassionate patient handling and restraint using Fear Free and Feline Friendly techniques
- Perform venipuncture, collect diagnostic samples, and assist with laboratory testing
- Place IV catheters and assist with fluid therapy
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for medical and surgical procedures
- Support anesthesia monitoring, patient recovery, and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records
- Communicate with clients about patient care, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive care
- Keep treatment areas clean, stocked, and ready, and pitch in wherever the team needs you

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Previous hands-on veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting
- Strong technical and clinical skills, with experience in surgery, dentistry, radiology, laboratory procedures, patient monitoring, and technician appointments preferred
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
- The ability to stay calm, organized, and efficient during urgent situations
- A positive, collaborative, team-first approach
- Compassion and empathy for patients, clients, coworkers, and yourself
- A willingness to ask questions, share knowledge, and keep learning
- Interest in Fear Free and Feline Friendly techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift [Weight] lbs with assistance
