- Surface common configuration themes, recurring technical issues, and product feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the documentation of implementation processes, configuration guides, onboarding best practices, and educational resources.
- Review system and software documentation such as release notes, design specs, and configuration requirements to stay current on platform changes.
- Attend product demos and pre-release demos; review and help create or update SOPs and supporting materials.
- Escalate complex issues requiring cross-functional coordination, providing context and recommended next steps to the appropriate team lead or Implementation Consultant.
- Stay current on relevant trends in the financial services industries (e.g., mortgage, banking, wealth management) as they relate to ICE products.

- Strong project management skills, particularly in managing configuration tasks, delivery timelines, and competing priorities.
- Strong time management, organization, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and process development.
- Flexibility, versatility, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, multi-product delivery environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and new platform capabilities.

Which companies sponsor visas for technical consultants in Georgia?
Major IT services firms with significant Georgia footprints, including Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, and Capgemini, are among the most active H-1B visa sponsors for technical consultant roles in the state. Consulting arms of large corporations like NCR Voyix, Global Payments, and Delta Air Lines also file sponsorships. IBM and Accenture maintain Atlanta delivery offices and have a track record of sponsoring technical roles.
Which visa types are most common for technical consultant roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for technical consultants in Georgia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as computer science, information systems, or engineering. L-1B visas are also used when consultants transfer intracompany from an overseas office. Some roles at Georgia-based firms with Canadian or Mexican operations are filled through TN visas.
Which cities in Georgia have the most technical consultant sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of technical consultant sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of IT services firms, Fortune 500 headquarters, and financial technology companies. Sandy Springs and Alpharetta, both within the Atlanta metro, host regional offices for several consulting firms and global technology companies. Outside the metro, Savannah sees limited but growing demand tied to logistics and port technology projects.
How to find technical consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and lets you filter technical consultant roles by state, so you can browse active Georgia openings from employers with a demonstrated history of sponsoring. Because sponsorship availability is not always listed on general job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that surfaces verified sponsoring employers saves significant time during your search.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for technical consultants pursuing visa sponsorship?
Georgia does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal obligations, but the Department of Labor's prevailing wage determinations for the Atlanta metropolitan statistical area directly affect what employers must pay H-1B sponsored technical consultants. Georgia Tech and Georgia State University supply a strong pipeline of international graduates on OPT, making the Atlanta market competitive for entry-level technical consultant roles. Employers in the fintech and supply chain sectors are particularly active sponsors in this state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical consultant jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
