Regular housekeeping duties must be performed to ensure that grain storage areas, loading zones, and surrounding facilities remain clean, safe, and compliant with operational and safety standards. The operator must be capable of safely driving non-CDL farm trucks to transport grain between locations on the property and operating other equipment within the facility yard. Additional responsibilities include performing routine maintenance on grain handling equipment, conducting minor mechanical repairs when necessary, and ensuring that all machinery is in safe working condition. This position also requires the ability to safely climb vertical grain legs and access elevated equipment or storage areas to inspect or maintain facility operations. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions.
