INTRODUCTION
Do you have a passion for Livestock? The Inside Sales Consultant for our Livestock, Poultry & Dairy division will focus on generating demand and qualifying sales leads for new and existing customers. You will partner with Field Sales Representatives to communicate the strengths and value of the IDEXX Livestock, Poultry and Dairy products and services with a targeted sales approach leading to profitable revenue growth and customer satisfaction. It will be important to identify new sales opportunities and maintain effective relationships with existing customers.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of Inside Sales Consultant - Livestock, Poultry, Dairy:

You will qualify marketing generated leads and generate your own leads for new customers and new business for Livestock, Poultry and Dairy products and Lab services.

You will sell the value of, and close, the IDEXX LPD rapid assay portfolio, including SNAP BVD, Milk Residue and Alertys Ruminant Pregnancy Tests.

You will set up Onsite and Bovine Laboratory demo appointments for aligned field-based, Livestock Diagnostic Specialists with qualified Veterinarian and Producer customers.

You will build, manage, and document a sales and lead pipeline through Salesforce.com.

You will establish credibility among customers through demonstration of product knowledge and a consultative sales approach.

Work effectively with leadership & cross-functional teams to ensure success & optimal customer experience.

You will gain experience working with a diverse group of customers in the Animal Health industry.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What you need to succeed?

You will have 3+ years of inside sales experience.
-
Experience in Diagnostics, Animal Health/Veterinary, and/or Agriculture field(s) are a plus.
-
Bilingual in both English and Spanish a plus.
-
You have been a consistent high performer with demonstrated success.

Highly motivated, goal-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset.
-
An entrepreneurial spirit to learn and grow as the organization grows.

You will have strong active listening skills and be able to ask follow-up questions in order to further understand and uncover customers’ specific needs.

Highly effective verbal and communication skills.

You will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Capability to absorb and articulate technical information in a precise manner.

Computer proficiency (Salesforce.com, Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook).
COMPENSATION
What you can expect from us:

$25 - $32 / hour, based on experience with ability to earn quarterly commission.
