It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world.
Why this role?
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Finance Applications), you’ll play a key role in partnering with the Finance organization to create and deliver scalable technology solutions that automate core financial business processes within the Procure to Pay space. You will define and interpret complex functional requirements for the technical team, focusing on system implementations and enhancements that bridge the gap between Sales operations and Financial reporting. What You’ll Do:
- Lead business requirements sessions and collaborate on systems design to support various parts of the business.
- Analyze and improve business processes by understanding current workflows and identifying automation opportunities.
- Design and recommend technology solutions aligned with business objectives, managing projects from initiation to implementation.
- Interact with cross-functional business teams (Salesforce CPQ, NetSuite, Workato, Workday, Coupa, Zone Billing) to define requirements and understand system-wide changes.
- Lead root cause analysis for major incidents and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Mentor junior team members in best practices and lead customization projects that involve cross-functional collaboration.
- Take full ownership of strategic programs and initiatives, driving them from conception to successful implementation.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Deep experience managing complex Coupa ecosystems, including core Procure to Pay (P2P) processes and integrations with systems like NetSuite, Tropic, and Workato.
- A strong understanding of procurement processes and how they are applied to achieve best-practice application solutions.
- Ability to lead architecture design for complex systems and make strategic technology recommendations.
- Advanced skills in managing complex projects or programs, including resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Expert communication skills to synthesize and present complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leaders.
It’d Be Awesome If You Also…
- Are a complete team player who acts proactively and adapts to a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong adaptability to changing trends in technology and business requirements.
- Are comfortable with a high-volume and very fast-paced workload.
- Bring fresh ideas and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
COMPENSATION
- Annual Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $130,000
Snyk is committed to equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors. Actual compensation may vary based on prior experience, skills, location, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Our Total Rewards program includes, but is not limited to, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and health, dental, and vision insurance.
We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway!

Which companies sponsor visas for business systems analysts in Massachusetts?
Financial services and life sciences firms are among the most active sponsors in Massachusetts. State Street, Fidelity Investments, Liberty Mutual, and John Hancock regularly hire business systems analysts and have established H-1B visa sponsorship programs. Technology companies like Wayfair, HubSpot, and Rapid7, along with healthcare organizations such as Mass General Brigham, also appear frequently in federal H-1B disclosure data for this role category.
Which visa types are most common for business systems analysis roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for business systems analysis positions in Massachusetts, as these roles typically qualify as specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information systems, computer science, or business administration. Candidates already holding L-1B or TN visa status may also be eligible depending on their nationality and employer, and some transition from OPT or STEM OPT while searching for sponsorship.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most business systems analysis sponsorship jobs?
Boston and Cambridge account for the largest concentration of sponsored business systems analysis roles in Massachusetts, driven by the dense presence of financial institutions, technology firms, and life sciences companies. Waltham and Burlington along Route 128 are also significant hubs, particularly for enterprise software and healthcare IT employers. Worcester has a smaller but growing share tied to its expanding healthcare and insurance sectors.
How to find business systems analysis visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters business systems analysis jobs in Massachusetts by visa sponsorship status, so you can avoid applying to roles that won't support an H-1B or other work visa. Rather than sorting through general job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces employers in the Boston area and beyond who have an active sponsorship track record for business systems analysis and related titles.
Are there any state-specific considerations for business systems analysts seeking sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts employers filing H-1B petitions must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements specific to the Boston-Cambridge-Nashua metropolitan area, which sets the wage floor for the role level and location. The state's strong university pipeline from MIT, Northeastern, and Boston University means employers are accustomed to hiring international graduates, and many have in-house immigration teams or established relationships with immigration counsel, which can make the sponsorship process more straightforward for candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business systems analysis jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
