Tips for Finding H-1B1 Chile Sponsorship Jobs in New Hampshire
Verify your degree meets specialty occupation criteria
Use O*NET to confirm your occupation requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. New Hampshire employers filing LCAs will specify the required discipline, so a mismatch between your credential and the job zone can trigger a denial before you reach USCIS.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for New Hampshire employers who have certified LCAs for H-1B1 Chile. Dartmouth Health, BAE Systems, and Manchester-area tech firms appear in recent filings, giving you a verified shortlist rather than a cold search.
Check prevailing wage before negotiating your offer
Run the OFLC Wage Search for your occupation code and New Hampshire county before your offer stage. H-1B1 Chile requires the employer to pay at least the prevailing wage on the certified LCA, so knowing the DOL floor lets you negotiate from an informed position.
Confirm the employer understands H-1B1 Chile filing mechanics
Many New Hampshire employers know H-1B but not H-1B1 Chile. The LCA must specifically designate H-1B1 status, and the petition goes directly to a U.S. consulate in Chile rather than USCIS. Clarify this with HR early so the employer doesn't default to the wrong filing pathway.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified H-1B1 sponsoring employers
Search Migrate Mate for H-1B1 Chile roles in New Hampshire to surface employers whose DOL filing history confirms active sponsorship. Filtering by state and visa type removes companies that sponsor H-1B but have never filed an H-1B1 LCA.
Time your application around the H-1B1 annual cap reset
The 1,400 H-1B1 Chile slots reset each October 1 at the start of the federal fiscal year. If you're targeting a role in the Nashua or Portsmouth tech corridors and slots are running low late in the fiscal year, structuring your offer letter with a post-October 1 start date preserves your options.

Which industries in New Hampshire sponsor the most H-1B1 Chile visas?
Healthcare and technology account for the largest share of H-1B1 Chile LCA filings in New Hampshire. Hospital systems in the Manchester-Nashua metro and the Upper Valley, defense and advanced manufacturing firms like those in the Merrimack Valley, and software companies in the southern tier are the most active sponsoring industries for Chilean professionals in specialty occupation roles.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua generate the highest volume of H-1B1 Chile-eligible roles in New Hampshire, driven by their concentration of technology employers and regional medical centers. Concord sees activity from state-adjacent healthcare and professional services firms, while Lebanon and Hanover attract sponsors tied to Dartmouth Health and the Upper Valley biotech and research cluster.
What types of roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in New Hampshire?
Roles that qualify are those classified as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria, meaning a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field is a minimum requirement. In New Hampshire, qualifying positions commonly include software engineers, network architects, mechanical and electrical engineers in advanced manufacturing, registered nurses with specialized credentials, financial analysts, and clinical researchers in the state's biotech sector.
How do I find H-1B1 Chile jobs in New Hampshire?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for H-1B1 Chile-sponsored roles in New Hampshire. The platform filters employers by their verified DOL Labor Condition Application filing history, so every result reflects an employer who has actively sponsored the visa type rather than one that only sponsors H-1B visa. Cross-reference findings with the OFLC Wage Search to confirm prevailing wage levels for your occupation and target county before applying.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
