About us
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.

Which companies sponsor visas for senior full stack engineers in New York?
Large financial institutions and tech firms are among the most consistent sponsors in New York. JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Bloomberg, Amazon, Google, and Spotify have all filed substantial numbers of work visa petitions for full stack engineering roles. Beyond the big names, a significant volume of sponsorship also comes from well-funded fintech and media startups headquartered in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Which visa types are most common for senior full stack engineer roles in New York?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for senior full stack engineers in New York, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field. Candidates with extraordinary ability may qualify for the O-1A. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 visa, and Canadians and Mexicans may have TN visa eligibility for certain software engineering roles.
How to find senior full stack engineer visa sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by state and role to see senior full stack engineer positions in New York where employers are open to visa sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to sifting through general job listings where sponsorship willingness is rarely stated upfront. New York postings on Migrate Mate span fintech, media, enterprise software, and startup sectors.
Which cities in New York have the most senior full stack engineer sponsorship jobs?
New York City accounts for the overwhelming majority of senior full stack engineer sponsorship activity in the state. Manhattan concentrations are heaviest in Midtown and Lower Manhattan for finance and enterprise tech, while Brooklyn has a growing startup presence. Albany and Buffalo have a smaller share of opportunities, primarily through state government IT projects and regional employers, but NYC dominates by a wide margin.
Are there any New York-specific considerations for senior full stack engineers seeking visa sponsorship?
New York City's dense concentration of H-1B-dependent employers in finance and tech means prevailing wage compliance is closely scrutinized. Senior-level roles are typically mapped to higher wage levels, so employers filing Labor Condition Applications must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the specific New York City metro area. The city's strong university pipeline from Columbia, NYU, and Cornell Tech also means competition for sponsored roles at the senior level is meaningful.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored senior full stack engineer jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
