Which companies sponsor visas for service specialists in Oklahoma?
Employers with a history of sponsoring work visas for service specialists in Oklahoma include TTEC, American Airlines (which has operations in Tulsa), Paycom, and larger healthcare systems such as INTEGRIS Health and Mercy. Federal contractors and energy companies like ONE Gas also appear in sponsorship filing data. Sponsorship availability varies by role, team, and hiring cycle, so direct employer research is worthwhile.
Which visa types are most common for service specialist roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B visa is the most frequently used visa for service specialists where the role requires a specialized bachelor's degree, such as technical support, IT service management, or customer success in software. The TN visa applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. For roles that don't meet H-1B visa specialty occupation criteria, employers may explore L-1 visa transfers for internal candidates or O-1 visas for candidates with demonstrated expertise.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most service specialist sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City and Tulsa account for the large majority of service specialist sponsorship opportunities in the state. Oklahoma City draws employers in corporate services, healthcare administration, and government contracting. Tulsa is a hub for aviation maintenance support, energy sector services, and regional operations for national companies. Smaller markets like Norman and Edmond occasionally have openings tied to university-affiliated employers or technology firms.
How to find service specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters service specialist openings in Oklahoma by visa sponsorship availability, saving you the time of manually screening employers. You can browse roles across Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and surrounding areas, see which employers have filed for work visas previously, and focus your applications on companies already familiar with the sponsorship process for service-oriented positions.
Are there any state-specific considerations for service specialists seeking sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's economy is anchored in energy, aviation, and healthcare, which shapes the types of service specialist roles that attract visa sponsorship. The Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements apply statewide, and employers must certify that sponsored workers are paid at or above the applicable wage level for the role and location. Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma both generate pipelines of international graduates who pursue service-sector roles, making campus recruiting a relevant entry point.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service specialist jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
