We're seeking a driven Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, oversee complex projects, and play a pivotal role in transforming the future of Amazon's logistics network.
In this role, you will oversee the mechanical design of automated fulfillment center projects, leading cross-functional engineering teams from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership and Oversight:
- Oversee and direct comprehensive layouts for multiple automated material handling system projects
- Lead the selection and specification of conveyor types, third-party equipment, and systems across projects
- Manage coordination with electrical, controls, and structural engineering teams to ensure cohesive, integrated designs
- Provide strategic direction and final approval on mechanical design decisions

- Make high-level decisions to resolve complex field issues and project challenges

- Manage and develop new engineers as they grow in their careers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in implementing and designing material handling systems

- Experience with AutoDesk Suite of tools (Revit, Navisworks, Vault, BIM360, ACC, etc)
