Search Enterprise Account Manager Jobs in TexasEnterprise Account Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for enterprise account managers in Texas?
Several large technology and software companies with Texas operations have sponsored work visas for enterprise account managers, including Dell Technologies (Round Rock), Oracle (Austin), Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft, and Cisco. Enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity firms are among the most consistent sponsors in this role category, given the specialized sales expertise and industry knowledge these positions require.
Which visa types are most common for enterprise account managers in Texas?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for enterprise account managers in Texas, provided the role meets the specialty occupation standard, which typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa. Those with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may explore the TN visa under the USMCA, which can cover certain management and business roles.
Which cities in Texas have the most enterprise account manager sponsorship jobs?
Austin and Dallas lead Texas for enterprise account manager sponsorship activity, driven by dense concentrations of technology companies, corporate headquarters, and regional sales offices. Houston adds additional opportunities through energy technology and industrial software firms. San Antonio has a growing cybersecurity and IT services sector that also generates enterprise account management roles with sponsorship potential.
How to find enterprise account manager visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse enterprise account manager roles in Texas without sorting through positions that do not offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and role type to surface relevant openings at Texas-based employers. This is especially useful given that sponsorship availability is not always disclosed clearly in standard job postings.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for enterprise account managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since DOL wage determinations for H-1B petitions are based on the metropolitan statistical area where work is performed. Austin and Dallas have distinct prevailing wage levels, so a role in Round Rock may be assessed differently than one in Houston. Enterprise account managers should also note that quota-based visas like the H-1B require employer filing well in advance of the intended start date.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored enterprise account manager jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
