Success in this role requires strong execution discipline, strategic thinking, financial rigor, and the ability to influence across highly matrixed organizations.
This leader must operate with a “Project CEO” mindset — balancing delivery excellence, stakeholder management, operational stability, and business outcomes.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery & Portfolio Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of project managers responsible for end-to-end delivery of enterprise site technology initiatives across the Americas
- Oversee Network Implementation programs resulting from:
- Site builds, closures, and expansions

- Infrastructure modernization and tech debt remediation
- Workplace collaboration and voice transformation initiatives
- Drive consistent execution through strong project governance, risk management, budget oversight, and timeline management
- Serve as the senior escalation point for delivery risks and site-impacting issues
Stakeholder & Business Alignment
- Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services (CREWS), and business stakeholders to ensure alignment to enterprise standards and strategic priorities

- Coordinate technology deployment readiness with construction and workplace timelines, including cabling, IDF/MDF readiness, and workplace infrastructure dependencies
- Represent HPIT site solutions and services with regional leadership and stakeholders
Vendor & Financial Governance
- Oversee a multi-million-dollar project portfolio with accountability for forecasting, budget management, vendor performance, and financial accuracy
- Drive accountability across strategic suppliers, deployment partners, and infrastructure vendors to ensure high-quality and on-time execution
- Partner with Finance and Procurement teams to support capitalization, cost control, and investment planning
Incident & Escalation Leadership
- Lead management escalations for critical site-impacting incidents and high-risk project issues
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to drive timely resolution and recovery
- Ensure effective Root Cause Analysis (RCA) development and continuous improvement actions following major incidents
People Leadership & Culture
- Build and mentor a high-performing organization focused on accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Develop leaders who can operate effectively in highly matrixed environments while balancing business needs, technical complexity, and delivery execution
- Foster a culture of proactive communication, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise infrastructure, workplace technology, or large-scale site deployment programs
- Proven success leading high-performing teams and managing complex project portfolios with budgets exceeding $1M
- Strong expertise in:
- Project and program management
- Enterprise networking and infrastructure technologies (WAN, LAN, WiFi)
- Vendor and partner management
- Financial planning and cost governance
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Lead critical escalations in complex enterprise environments
- Influence senior stakeholders across multiple organizations
- Drive execution and accountability across matrixed teams
- Balance operational stability with large-scale transformation initiatives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You think in systems, strategy, and outcomes — not just tasks
- You drive accountability across teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- You lead through credibility, execution, and influence
- You are comfortable operating in high-visibility environments with executive stakeholders
- You can quickly align people, priorities, and execution to solve complex business problems

Search Technology Business Partner Jobs in TexasTechnology Business Partner Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for technology business partners in Texas?
Large technology and enterprise companies with major Texas operations are the most consistent sponsors for technology business partner roles. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, AT&T in Dallas, Amazon Web Services in Austin, and consulting firms such as Accenture and Deloitte have all filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for business-facing technology positions. Financial services and healthcare technology firms operating out of Dallas and Houston also sponsor regularly for this role type.
Which visa types are most common for technology business partner roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for technology business partner positions in Texas, as these roles generally require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as information systems, computer science, or business administration and qualify as specialty occupations. Candidates with multinational employer experience may also enter on an L-1B intracompany transferee visa. TN visa status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or technology categories.
Which cities in Texas have the most technology business partner sponsorship jobs?
Austin leads Texas for technology business partner sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of tech companies and corporate headquarters. Dallas and its surrounding suburbs, including Plano, Irving, and Richardson, form a dense enterprise technology corridor with high demand from telecom, financial services, and consulting firms. Houston adds significant opportunities in energy technology and healthcare IT, making it a meaningful third market for this role in the state.
How to find technology business partner visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters technology business partner roles in Texas by visa sponsorship history, so you are not sifting through postings that will not support your visa status. The platform surfaces employers who have actively sponsored similar roles, which is particularly useful in Texas where sponsorship activity is concentrated among a defined set of enterprise technology and consulting employers rather than spread evenly across industries.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for technology business partner roles and visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons during the Labor Condition Application process since the Department of Labor benchmarks wages to the local area. Austin's technology sector has grown rapidly, meaning prevailing wages in that metro have risen and employers must meet updated thresholds. Texas also benefits from strong university pipelines through UT Austin, Texas A&M, and UT Dallas, which supply OPT and STEM OPT candidates who employers in this state frequently transition to H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technology business partner jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
