Which companies sponsor visas for business analysts in Wisconsin?
Epic Systems in Verona is one of Wisconsin's most active visa sponsors for business analysts, particularly in healthcare IT. American Family Insurance and Northwestern Mutual in Milwaukee hire analysts with sponsorship for finance and insurance technology roles. Kohl's, Harley-Davidson, and Kohler Co. also have sponsorship track records for business and data analyst positions across the state.
Which visa types are most common for business analyst roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa for business analysts in Wisconsin, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, information systems, or computer science. Candidates from Australia may pursue the E-3. Canadian and Mexican nationals often qualify under the TN visa in the Management Consultant or Economist category, depending on the role's responsibilities.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most business analyst sponsorship jobs?
Madison and Milwaukee account for the largest share of business analyst sponsorship activity in Wisconsin. Madison is driven heavily by Epic Systems and the University of Wisconsin system, while Milwaukee's finance, insurance, and manufacturing sectors generate consistent demand. Green Bay and Appleton see smaller but steady hiring from manufacturing and regional financial firms that occasionally sponsor for analyst positions.
How to find business analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters business analyst jobs in Wisconsin specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you're not sorting through roles that won't support foreign nationals. You can search by city, industry, and visa type to narrow results to employers like Epic Systems or American Family Insurance that actively sponsor. This is considerably more efficient than broad job searches that don't surface sponsorship status.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for business analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Wisconsin's healthcare IT sector, centered around Epic Systems in Verona, creates an unusually concentrated pipeline for business analysts with health informatics or clinical systems backgrounds. The University of Wisconsin-Madison produces a strong domestic talent pool, so sponsored candidates typically need differentiated skills in areas like data analytics, ERP systems, or industry-specific process improvement to stand out to sponsoring employers in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business analyst jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
