Responsibilities:
- Operate asphalt paver to place hot mix asphalt to specified grade and thickness
- Control paver speed, material flow, and alignment for consistent mat quality
- Work closely with screed operators, rollers, truck drivers, and foreman
- Assist with grade control, joint matching, and transitions
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate with crew to maintain safe work zones and production flow
- Step out of the paver when needed to assist with raking, shoveling, and site cleanup
- Follow all safety procedures and jobsite policies
- Work in a professional manor
- Adhere to all safety standards
- Take direction from foreman
Qualifications
- 5 years+ paving experience
- Ability to work 5-6 days a week, 8-12 hours a day
- Push/Pull 20lbs resistance
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Valid Class A CDL (is a plus but not required)
